I had planned to bitch and moan about the snow...lack of snow plows in my neighborhood....not having a TV for three whole days...etc, ect.....
Then I got a call from a friend saying that the young woman and her seven month old baby who died in this fire is the niece of one of our Anger Management Girls.
It certainly put my bitching in perspective.
The snow just isn't that big a deal anymore.
Count your blessings.
The goal of anger management is to reduce both your emotional feelings and the physiological arousal that anger causes. You can't get rid of, or avoid, the things or the people that enrage you, nor can you change them, but you can learn to control your reactions. Unfortunately, I must have been absent the day those genes were given out. I speak my mind. Most of the time it doesn't have the desired effect. So what's a girl to do? Call a few friends, have a few beers, and forgetabouit!!!!!

So sorry to hear...and besides may I remind you of the post a bit back --- it is Pittsburgh, it is winter...
Yes, it puts it all into perspective. My prayers and condolences to your friend.
As far as your assessment of my snowday behaviors....you are absolutely right! I have no clue why I can't just enjoy the time instead of thinking I have to be super woman. I need therapy....!
More snow?
Oh well....
