My First

I guess it was bound to happen. Yeah, can't stay a virgin on these here internets forever ya know. I know most of you are shocked that I would still be a virgin. (no laughing)...... So, I've been tagged. Whatever that is. Had to do some checking because Lord knows I didn't want to embarrass myself and say "whaaaa".Turns out its sort of like the game tag with a twist. (We called the game "IT", by the way) Another blogger asks you to do something or answer questions and you do it and pass it on.

So her goes.

Irishembi (who will be forever known as my first) tagged me. She is Irish and from Pittsburgh. I wonder if I know her? I'm sure we know someone in common. She has asked for my forth picture from my forth file. OK, but on what computer? Work or home? So I've decided to do both.
Here's work.

It was at Katie Devinney's wedding about a year and a half ago. Katie is my cousin Jeff's (cousin #1) daughter. Katie and my firstborn Danny have the same birthdays. March 30. Anyway, at the wedding we had noticed that most of us had black and white on. So we took a picture.

Now onto the home computer.

Yes, it's an Anger Management Thursday picture. One of the crazy Bob's Garage adventures. It was last May or June. Sharon was getting ready to return to Rhode Island for the summer. We were singing "See you in September" on the karaoke. I printed out the words and all the girls got up and sang to her. Aaaand she returned in September for more abuse. Imagine that!!!!!

I'm just thanking God it wasn't one of the apple pictures. I got in enough trouble for posting them in the first place from Janice, thank you.

Since I have Bob's Garage on my mind. I think that's where we should go this Thursday. To all of the adventurous AMG's ready to cross the bridge again, see you all tomorrow around 8 at Bob's Garage!

Now I think I'm supposed to Tag four bloggers.
50 year old Judi @ Stories from the Road
Ruth @ Scoop Murphy Writes Again.
Kathy @ New Beginnings
and Jody @ The World According to Jody.

There, that wasn't so bad.

MY PAGES OF HISTORY!

The crowd in the subway was scary. My son Devin almost fainted. But it was all worth it
The Picture below is people behind us.

This is what was beside us.

The was in front of us.

I have videos from my camera and a bunch more photos. Have to figure out how to download them and put them on my blog.
Can I just say it was the most amazing day of my life. And I have enough stories for a year. But right now I am tired and sore.
I am so amazed that with almost 2 million people, most of them were behind me!!!!!We were off to the side, and sometimes a barrier for press got in our way. But you can't imagine the feeling of being there.
Some of the people spotted by our crew, Stephen Spielberg and Tim Russert's son.
I just wanted to get this out there. Post more later.....promise.

By the way, I took this picture last year while visiting the Vatican for my Big 50! What the hell did I eat that last night that would make me dream about a 14th Century Pope?????

Baby It's Cold Outside

Wow, I had a dream that Sarah Palin took over the whole country and turned it into Alaska. And that it is going to be 5 degrees tomorrow.
Please tell me it was only a nightmare! I hate Alaska! I hate the cold! And we all know how I feel about Sarah Palin. Someone please wake me up!!!!!

Holy Shit, it's cold out there. Hope you all have someone to snuggle up with to keep you warm!

Praise The Lord, Pass The Ammunition. Part II or III

Grrrrr. I just read this article that the ACLU is claiming that Roman Catholic bishops are wrongly imposing their religious beliefs on victims of human trafficking by prohibiting grant money to be used for emergency contraception, condoms and abortion care.
According to Sr. Mary Ann Walsh "We will continue to provide those services in the contract that are consistent with our belief in the life and dignity of the human person."
I think our belief are the operative words here. Sorry Sister, but your belief may not be the same beliefs held by the poor people you are trying to help. Haven't they been through enough? We'll just send all those there little ol' babies over to your house to raise. OK?

And since we're talking about woman being held as human slaves, lets not even get into the dignity thing here.

Ok, So Maybe I Only Needed Four Days Off.

I know, I know, so I lied. I thought I needed to take some time off because I didn’t feel like being funny for a while.
I guess I should have known a certain Governor from way up north would go and say something stupid during my vaca from my blog!

Sooooo, Sarah Palin thinks the media is going easy on Caroline Kennedy because of her social class.I think CLASS is the operative word here.
SHE HAS IT WINKEY AND YOU DON'T!!!!!!

Holy shit. Please someone tell me she isn’t even going to try to compare herself to Caroline Kennedy.
Sarah, Sarah, Sarah, please shut up. Don't you have any shame girl?
Her exact words:

“It’s going to be interesting to see how that plays out and I think that as we watch that we will perhaps be able to prove that there is a class issue here also that was such a factor in the scrutiny of my candidacy versus say, the scrutiny of what her candidacy may be.”

Huh?

OK people, if she wants to compare, lets start comparing.

Kennedy: BA Harvard (took her only four years, imagine that?), Columbia Law School (top ten in class)
Palin: Hawaii Pacific, North Idaho Community College, University of Idaho, Matanuska-Susitina Community College, Back to University of Idaho. Whew, Did I miss one? Finally graduating with a degree in journalism. (No one will release her class rank, wonder why?).
Looking at the two, I can see where one draws parallels. I was just telling someone the other day "Ya know, I wish I had a penny for every time I read the business section and see another graduate from North Idaho Community College being named CEO of some Fortune 500 Company!"

OK. Next up, experience.

Kennedy: Attorney, writer, editor, board member on a number of non-profit boards. Director of the Office of Strategic Partnership for the NYC Dept of Education, where she helped raised 65 million for NYC Public Schools. She is also an advisor to the Harvard Institute of Politics,
and she co-authored two books on Civil Liberties.
I could go on, but I wouldn’t want to embarrass Winkey any further.

Palin: Reporter in Alaska, helped with her husbands commercial fishing company. She then ran for Wasilla City Council against a telephone operator. She won with 530 votes.
Mayor of Wasilla for three terms. Population 6,300.
My personal favorite, she was appointed to chair an ethics commission at the same time she served as one of three directors of "Ted Stevens Excellence in Public Service, HA.
Is anyone seeing the similarities?
Then she became Governor of Alaska. Population 730,000.

OK, OK, I think we all get the point. So I am just going to close with one thing. When Caroline Kennedy was Director of the Office of Strategic Planning for New York City Public Schools, they had 1.1 Million students.
What’s the population of Alaska?????

I am not even going to get into the part where she says Tina Fey and Katie Couric have been exploiting her to further their careers. Yeah, they really needed her to become successful. They were such losers!
She goes on to rant about anonymous bloggers. Saying people believe what they say and they won't even sign their names. Well let me get one thing straight Sarah, I am not anonymous. My name is Eileen D'Amico. and everyone fuckin knows it. I can't write for shit, but I am still smarter than you......So there!

Told you I would come back with a vengeance and its’ only been a few days!

Again, I'm writing this on the fly. Sorry for the grammar.
Check in 1/21 for Inauguration Stories. I'm sure there will be plenty. Can't wait.

I'll Be Back.......

Sorry folks, I need to take a little break in the action here. I have way too much stuff going on in my life right now that need my full attention.
I will still find time to visit my favorites from time to time, but I have to devote most of my time and energy on some important stuff.
I'll be back soon. Say some prayers for me, Lord knows I could use some!
I won't be gone for long, so don't forget about me. And when I do return, Lord help us all. I'll have plenty of ammunition. So watch out.
