WHERE ON EARTH WOULD ANY ATHLETE TRUST THE FANS ENOUGH TO TO THIS?

OR THIS
SIXBURGH
FOR THOSE OF YOU NOT FROM HERE WHO HAVE EVER WONDERED WHAT'S WITH THE WHOLE STEELER NATION THING, IT IS IN THE PICTURES ABOVE.
PLAIN AND SIMPLE.
ANY OTHER CITY WOULD BE ON FIRE IF FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND FANS SHOWED UP FOR A VICTORY PARADE.

ARRESTS: ZERO.
ONLY IN THE BURG!
MY HOME SWEET HOME
SIXBURGH
SWEET SIXCCESS.

One final note. Thank God there were no arrests because this was my favorite quote from the Post Gazette "The throng around the intersection was so thick, including school age children with advanced black and gold fever, it forced the nearby St. Mary of Mercy Church to cancel confessions." Well at least there were no mortal sins committed!
And this from a vendor: "These people love their Steelers. You could sell a used napkin if it's black and gold."

*I'll post more pictures when my son gets home!
*The Steelers jumping into the crowd were Troy Polamalu and Ryan Clark.

There's no place like Pittsburgh in the world! And is there any other Football team that inspires a "nation" like this? You can go to any place in the world almost and find a Steeler bar and Steeler's fans.

And did you see Troy Polamalu's post-game interview? When his newborn son began to fuss in his arms, he stood up, insisted his wife sit down in his seat to soothe the baby and he completed the interview on foot. Such a gentleman.

Oh, YES! It's SO true! I was (and still am) so proud of our city, it almost makes me want to leak from my eyeballs a little.

Pittsburgh kicks ass. As do its people.

Thanks for sharing this post with us!

with love from Pittsburgh...
