The goal of anger management is to reduce both your emotional feelings and the physiological arousal that anger causes. You can't get rid of, or avoid, the things or the people that enrage you, nor can you change them, but you can learn to control your reactions. Unfortunately, I must have been absent the day those genes were given out. I speak my mind. Most of the time it doesn't have the desired effect. So what's a girl to do? Call a few friends, have a few beers, and forgetabouit!!!!!

Those poor boys! They fought so hard and so good! And, my heart just ached for Jamie Dixon....
I'll bet Oakland and Shadyside had a silence about them when it was all said and done. I know my house was feeling the effects. Birthday cake and ice cream helped ease the pain for my nephews & my dad and another beer fixed up Carmen and my brother-in-law! Thankfully, my uncle (whose 87th b-day we were celebrating) has Alzheimers or dimentia and didn't remember the loss (or the game).....even though he loved watching it. Lucky man....he thinks he's in his 40's and still living in Homewood. The only person on the planet he knows is his brother (my father). On Saturday night he told me "I'm worried about Frankie, he's looking a bit old." Too cute
Not sure what got me off on that tangent......must be the Irish in me.
All Hail Pitt!

Tough loss....
There was a great article in the paper here Sunday about LeBron James sticking around after the state high school championship game to give a hug to the losing Center as he stood there, weeping. Marshall Thurgood played James's alma mater, but he was so impressed by MT's spirit & especially their 5'11" center that he gave him a comforting hug.
Once in a while you see those guys live up to their image....
